ORTEX-RM FILES MODULE
The ORTEX-RM Files Module provides records management strategy for more efficient management of information within an organization. Designed to suit the working methods of modern organizations, ORTEX-RM Files Module, indexes, catalogues, distributes and disposes of record information. The Files Module offers fast and efficient search and retrieval capabilities, an extensive reporting system and includes bar coding technology to enhance tracking and audit tasks.

ORTEX-RM acts as a security system for records as well as an access and storage system. File information stored in ORTEX-RM can be made available to everyone in the organization, or it may be provided selectively. To ensure confidentiality, security levels may be given to certain files. In addition these security levels can be allocated exclusively to certain users of the system.
A major task for ORTEX-RM is to track and distribute files. The Files module provides you with functions to manage and monitor records from their creation through to the archiving or destruction of the record. With automated barcode tracking, ORTEX-RM records the current location of all records. A request facility is also available so that users can post advance request for file record information.
The ORTEX-RM reporting facility provides a selection of preformatted reports and extensive ad hoc query facilities. Once you have nominated the report you want, a report Generation box will appear on your desktop, enabling you to tailor the report to your immediate requirements. This could include the number or range of records required, the time period of reporting, or the output destination as either screen, printer or saved to file. ORTEX-RM also allows you to select the font type, style and size when producing a report.
